"Nothing": Most Common Answer for "What Did Yoon Administration Do Well?"

Polling company Mediatomato 미디어토마토 asked: what was Yoon Suk-yeol 윤석열 administration’s best policy of 2022? A majority of respondents, or 51.4%, said “none.” Among those who managed to find a bright spot, 14.9% said “labor policy,” likely referring to Yoon’s crackdown on the truckers’ strike. (See previous coverage, “Yoon Sees Opportunity in Truckers’ Strike.”) 9.2% said “real estate policy,” and 6.4% said “foreign policy and national security.”

“None” was the leading answer among all age groups except those aged 60 or older, with people in their 40s (66.3%) and 50s (56.1%) giving the most across-the-board disapproval. The conservative regions of Daegu/Gyeongsangbuk-do Province 대구/경상북도 (37.5%) and Busan/Ulsan/Gyeongsangnam-do Province 부산/울산/경상남도 (47.9%) were the only places where a majority of respondents did not answer “none”.
