According to Gallup Korea’s year-end poll, South Korea’s favorite movie actor of 2021 was Lee Jung-jae 이정재 of Squid Game 오징어게임, followed by Academy award winning actress Youn Yuh-jung 윤여정 and Don Lee 마동석 who recently starred in Marvel’s Eternals. Korea’s favorite TV actor was Kim Seon-ho 김선호 of Hometown Cha-cha-cha 갯마을차차차, followed closely by his co-star Sin Min-a 신민아, and Lee Jung-jae again. Although Lee is primarily a movie actor, his leading role in the groundbreaking Netflix series Squid Game qualified him in the small-screen survey as well.
