According to a survey released by Hankook Research 한국리서치 on August 7, South Koreans have a high level of interest in artificial intelligence. 79% of respondents said they were interested in AI, up 8% from the same survey's findings in 2023.
Most respondents - 78% - said they had seen AI technology advance, up from 69% in 2023. A majority said AI technology was a net positive to them (50%) and to society at large (66%).
